Michael P. McCloskey

In 1995 Mr. McCloskey founded Florida Realty Investments, which began with the acquisition of a 32,000 square foot office building in West Palm Beach. Since then, Florida Realty Investments expanded it’s holdings to over 3 million square feet of owned office and industrial space throughout the southeast United States with an aggregate value in excess of $500,000,000.
In recognition of this expansion, the company was renamed FRI Investors and has continued it’s activity in markets throughout the southeast United States.
A third generation builder and developer, Mr. McCloskey’s family has been influential in construction and development since the 1920’s, building such landmarks as the Rayburn Congressional House Office Building and RFK Stadium in Washington DC and many other government, commercial and residential projects throughout the United States.
Mr. McCloskey graduated from Georgetown University.
Mr. McCloskey and his family are active contributors to a host of charitable organizations, including: The Preservation Foundation of Palm Beach, Palm Beach Zoo, Norton Museum of Art, Boys & Girls Club, The Benjamin School, American Cancer Society, St. Jude Medical Center, University of Notre Dame, Duke University Medical Center, The Prince of Wales Foundation, and The Venetian Heritage Society.
Mr. McCloskey serves on the Advisory Board of the Caron Foundation, the nation’s leading, non-profit, provider of addiction and behavioral health services. Mr. McCloskey served on the Executive Board of the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University where two of his children have graduated..
Mr. McCloskey, his wife Holly and four children reside in Palm Beach, Florida.
